Mack was a prominent early citizen of Detroit, Michigan. By some reports, Mack surveyed and built the major road that came to be known as Woodward Ave. Coincidentally (or not), an LDS temple is located on the now very busy Woodward Ave in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This temple was dedicated in 1999.
