Stephen M. Cohen
Stephen M. Cohen obtained the Internet domain name Sex.com by deception on or about September 17, 1995 from the original registrant, Gary Kremen, who had registered it in May 1994 as a joke. Kremen recovered Sex.Com via preliminary injunction obtained by his lead attorney, cyberlawyer Charles Carreon, on November 27, 2000. Subsequently U.S. Federal District Court Judge James A. Ware issued an arrest warrant for Cohen when he refused to respond to the court's order to appear in court.
