Stella (television show)
Stella is a television series that debuted on June 28, 2005 on the American television channel Comedy Central, starring the three members of the sketch comedy troupe of the same name. It is on television at 10:30 PM, EST, on Tuesday. The show was created by The State's Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain. The show is a live-action adaptation of their stage show and short films, which are available on their website.

The show, like much of modern sketch comedy, employs the techniques of absurdist humor, pioneered by the Marx Brothers, Eugene Ionesco, and Samuel Beckett (author of Waiting for Godot), amongst others.

As of September 6th, 2005, after 10 episodes, "Stella" had its timeslot filled by "Mind of Mencia". Currently the show reruns in an early morning timeslot.
