Statler Hotel

The Statler Hotel chain was founded by Ellsworth Statler (October 26, 1863 - April 16, 1928) in 1901 in Buffalo, New York then host to the Pan-American Exposition. The first hotel had 450 rooms and baths, and was successful, leading to a chain of luxury hotels located in other cities. For the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in Saint Louis, Missouri, Statler built the Innside Inn.
