Stanley Pons

Stanley Pons was a chemist at University of Utah who, while working with Martin Fleischmann of the University of Southampton, announced the discovery of cold fusion on March 23, 1989. Pons had been a graduate student of Fleischmann's at the University of Southampton where he earned his PhD in 1978.
