Stanford Law School
Stanford Law School is a graduate school of Stanford University located in Stanford, California in the Silicon Valley. It hosts approximately 550 students at a time who are working towards their Juris Doctor (law) degrees, making it smaller than any of the most elite law schools. According to US News and World Report, the school has a 7.7% acceptance rate, making it one of the two most selective law schools in the country.

In 2005, two of the school's alumni were members of the U.S. Supreme Court (the late Chief Justice William Rehnquist and retiring Associate Justice Sandra Day O'Connor), and one was chief justice of the Supreme Court of California. Stanford Law School is generally considered to be one of the most prestigious law schools in the United States, and certainly the most prestigious on the West Coast.
