Srinagar (city)

Srinagar is a city in Jammu and Kashmir, India. Location: {{coor dms|34|5|23|N|74|47|24|E|}} situated in the valley of Kashmir, on both banks of the Jhelum, a tributary of the Indus river. Srinagar is the summer capital of the state government of Jammu and Kashmir.

Famous People

Qazi Touqeer, who made history in Indian Television by receiving more than 1.5 crore votes from viewers through the reality show "Fame Gurukul," is a native of Srinagar. His huge popularity continues to make the people of Srinagar proud.
