Spun

Spun is a 2002 drama/comedy movie directed by Jonas Åkerlund and written by Will De Los Santos and Creighton Vero.

Plot

The film is set in present day Southern California. While trying to make a quick "score", Ross (Jason Schwartzman) suddenly finds himself the unofficial chauffeur for a methamphetamine cook (Mickey Rourke) and his stripper girlfriend (Brittany Murphy). During the film Ross constantly tries to make a phone call to his "girlfriend" who he owes $450, but cannot ever seem to make things work out. He instead gets pulled deeper into the spiral that surrounds Leguizamo, Murphy, Suvari, and Rourke, his ?tweaker" friends.
