Spun is a 2002 drama/comedy movie directed by Jonas Åkerlund and written by Will De Los Santos and Creighton Vero.

Movie Effects

The director attempts to mimick the effects of the drug, both visually and aurally by using surreal quick cuts, freezeframes, speed alterations, and other special effects including animation. Camera angles remain otherwise steady while the film follows the characters through the three-day journey. The timeline remains for the most part chronological with some references to the past using ?trippy? flashbacks.

Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins and more recently Zwan, selected the music for the movie's soundtrack, including the epic "Always." Due to the director's roots in the Swedish black metal scene, there are references to black and death metal in the film's soundtrack as well.
