This really is a wonderful family timeshare. We bought it at full-price several years ago for about $10,000. It is completely paid off now but we need to sell it cheap due to a medical emergency. This is an even-year timeshare and maintenence fees are only due every other year at about $645 (which is quite reasonable for a bi-yearly timeshare). The timeshare is a red week, which means it has very high trade value to any other timeshare listed through RCI or Interval International. We have always had really good luck trading to places like Spring Training in Scottsdale, AZ or even Costa Rica! If you choose to stay at the resort in Escondido (Villas on the Green), you can go any week of the year. The villa is bigger than our house in Montclair! It has a stocked kitchen, dining area, washer/dryer in-unit, living room with a pull-out couch, balcony, master bedroom and huge bathroom. The unit comfortably fits 4 people. There are several pools, the main one has a water-slide and water play park for little kids, pro golf course, theatre, restaurants, activities and more. Our family always had a blast there and we will miss it. Our loss is your gain!

I'm a single female professional looking to swap my beautiful 2+2 condo in N. Scottsdale, AZ for a SF 1 or 2 bedroom unit for 3-6 months beginning in January 2009. Escape to the desert this winter and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, golf, and Phoenix's major social events (FBR Open, Barrett-Jackson, spring training) nearby! My gated complex was built in 2002 and is 2 miles from the Sonoran Mountain Preserve, which has incredible loop trails and a killer hike to 4,000 foot Thompson Peak (it's grueling, trust me). Great landscaping, pool with waterfall, jacuzzi, clubhouse and small gym. I'm 5 miles from the 101 N and walking distance to shops, restaurants, a wine bar, and a huge luxury gym with basketball courts and decent yoga. Views of Camelback out the front and of the McDowells out the back. Nice running trail along the acqueduct and very close to Frank Lloyd Wright's winter studio/architecture school/museum, Taliesin West. My unit is on the 2nd floor (of 2) with 9' ceilings, large windows with 2" blinds, a furnished balcony, built-ins, maple cabinetry, upgraded fixtures, 12" tile, blah blah. Soothing color palette, big comfy down sofa, DVR, 2 big walk-in closets, laundry room, giant shower, high-speed internet. Master bedroom has a queen bed, large dresser, armoire, nightstands, walk-in closet, double vanity area and separate shower room. Second bedroom is used as an office but I can reconfigure to a bedroom if you prefer. I can send more photos -- I've attached 4 shots of the living/dining area.
