SportsCenter Old School

SportsCenter Old School is a version of the television program SportsCenter. SportsCenter Old School ran in August 2004 as part of ESPN25, the commemoration of ESPN's 25th anniversary; ESPN was inaugurated in 1979. SportsCenter Old School included former SportsCenter hosts, such as Craig Kilborn or CBS Sports' Greg Gumbel, who moved on to other media outlets. The show was announced on TV commercials with Irish group Thin Lizzy's 1976 song "The Boys are Back in Town".
