Southern Culture on the Skids

Southern Culture on the Skids, also known to fans as SCOTS, is an American music group composed of Rick Miller (vocals, guitar), Dave Hartman (percussion), and Mary Huff (vocals, bass guitar). The band formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA, in 1985. Stylistically, they gravitate towards the rockabilly, surf rock, country music, and R&B genres, with outrageous humor thrown in. The band attracted a modicum of national attention in 1995 with the release of the song "Camel Walk" from their album "Dirt Track Date".
