Sono Osato
Sono Osato is an American dancer and actress who originated the role of Ivy Smith in the original Broadway production of On the Town. Among other stage credits, she danced in the chorus of the 1943 musical One Touch of Venus, featuring prominently in the now-classic "40 Minutes for Lunch" ballet. Her autobiography, Distant Dances, was published in 1980.
