Soleil Moon Frye (born August 6, 1976 in Glendora, California) is an American actress and director. She was born to Virgil Frye and Sondra Peluce. She has the honor of being one of the youngest directors in Hollywood history, directing Wild Horses while still in her teens.

Popular myths

  • She is now a medical doctor who practices in veterinary medicine. (She attended New School University in New York for one year only.)
  • As a young teenager, Soleil's breasts grew "out of proportion," leading many to think she had gotten breast augmentation surgery. Without a further discussion on body proportions, all augmentation was due to puberty.
  • The reduction mammaplasty was performed due to a life-threatening breast disease that threatened to harm her heart. There is no public record or statement of Soleil's cardiac condition being threatened in any manner, nor was her condition terminal.
  • Her mother was diagnosed for breast cancer, and early stages of the cancer were detected as puberty began. Her mother did not have cancer.
