Slush is partly melted snow and ice.

Slush is also used to describe a partially frozen beverage that is a mixture of ice, sugar and fruit or other flavoring. It is a popular refreshment in the USA and in some fast food restaurant chains, which bring that dish to almost the whole modern world. Its consistency is between liquid and a milkshake. Brands of slushes include Slush Puppie and Slurpee.

Usually the making of slushes include renting an expensive machine, which is able to produce the product almost instantly.

The tastes vary widely, just like ice or other sweets.
