Slipknot (album)

Slipknot is the second album by heavy metal band Slipknot, considered by some critics a nu metal album. The album was released on June 29, 1999 by Roadrunner Records. A digipak version was released on March 7, 2000, followed by a "Clean" version (with swear words dubbed out) on March 14; the digipak was re-released on August 9.

The cover of the album simply shows the band members in their masks and boilersuits: the anti image for which the band would become famous.
