Skepticism
Skepticism (British spelling: Scepticism) can mean:
Skeptics
The term skeptic is now also used to refer to a person who takes a critical position in any given situation, but usually it refers to adepts or endorsers of scientific skepticism.

Scientific skeptics' most challenging duty is to keep full unbiased analysis in investigation, as their goal is to put apart facts from personal beliefs. In reality, while these skeptics use the scientific method and critical thinking, sometimes they miss the implied objectiveness and restraint, thus raising doubt on their scientific reputation. Responsible skeptics are very careful with this, accepting responsible criticism and changing their positions to fit the facts. For example, a skeptic will not continue to reprove a theory for containing "highly dubious speculations about neurology", when he or she has no background in neurology and professional neurologists have already praised the theory.
