Skeeter Webb
James L. "Skeeter" Webb (November 4, 1909-July 8, 1986) was a Major League Baseball player. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi and died in the same town.

Webb began his Major League baseball career on July 20, 1932, with the St. Louis Cardinals at the age of 23. He played for 12 seasons on 5 different teams and ended his big-league playing career in 1948.
