Silver Springs, Florida
Silver Springs is in Marion County, Florida, just to the east of the city of Ocala. Silver Springs is the site of one of the largest artesian spring formations in the world, producing nearly 550 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily. Silver Springs forms the headwaters of the Silver River, which empties into the Oklawaha River, a part of the St. Johns River system.
