Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar

Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar is a triple vinyl (two CDs) album featuring live material recorded by Frank Zappa between 1977 and 1980. It was released in 1981 and reissued by Rykodisc on CD in 1986. The album is entirely instrumental and features mainly guitar solos, hence the title, though it is interspersed with brief verbal comments between tracks. The final song, "Canard Du Jour", is a duet between baritone violin and bouzouki. Each disc is titled after the respective disc's title track's variation on the album's name.
