Shoot style
Shoot style is a form of professional wrestling in which strikes and holds are real, however the matches are still predetermined. Shoot style derived from Antonio Inoki's style of wrestling in New Japan Pro Wrestling. It is also the predecessor of shootfighting, where the outcomes are not predetermined.

This is extremely popular in Japan and there have been many groups there who have used this style, including the Universal Wrestling Federation, UWF International, Fujiwara Gumi, and Fighting Network RINGS.
