Sherlock, Jr.
Sherlock, Jr. is a 1924 comedy short film which tells the story of a movie projectionist who is accused of stealing his girlfriend's father's watch. He falls asleep on the job and dreams that he is Sherlock Holmes solving the case. It stars Buster Keaton, Kathryn McGuire, Joe Keaton and Ward Crane.

Woody Allen has cited it as a source of inspiration for his own film, The Purple Rose of Cairo.
