Shark
Speed
The general shark is known to swim at an average speed of five miles per hour, but, when feeding or attacking the average shark is known to reach speeds of twelve miles per hour. An exception to this generality is the Mako shark whose speed can range from thirty to fifty miles per hour. The Mako shark is the fastest species of shark.
