Shannon County, Missouri
Shannon County is a county located in the state of Missouri. As of 2000, the population is 8,324. Its county seat is Eminence6. The county was organized in 1841 and named for George F. "Peg-Leg" Shannon, a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
