A giant anchor demolishes SpongeBob's house (and hits Squidward's left side of his own house). He (Along with Squidward and Patrick) climb the rope, ready to complain. They find out that the ship belongs to the flying dutchman, and they are forced to be part of his crew. Squidward is sent to "the Fly of Despair", while SpongeBob and Patrick have to help the flying dutchman scare people. They can't do it, so they're going to be eaten. They're locked in their room, and they escape through the perfume department. In the end, the flying dutchman grants them three wishes.

• SpongeBob: This is so exciting! I wish Squidward was here to see this!

Three alternate endings were made for this episode, although in regular screenings, SpongeBob's wish is granted.
