Shane Lee was born August 8, 1973 in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia and was an Australian cricketer.

Shane, an all-rounder, was an hard hitting batsman and fast-medium bowler. He was a promising junior representing the Australia U-19 team. He first played for New South Wales in 1993 and was called up for the Australian one day team in 1995. He had a good debut scoring a quickfire 39 v West Indies.

Shane was in the 1996 and 1999 World Cup squads but only really established himself in the team in the 1999-2000 VB Series along with the emergence of his brother fast bowler Brett.
