Seymour Cray


 

Seymour Roger Cray (September 28, 1925 ? October 5, 1996) was a supercomputer architect who founded the company Cray Research. For about 30 years, the short answer to the question "Which company makes the fastest computer?" was "Wherever Seymour Cray is working now."
