Sexploitation

Sexploitation is a term that was first used in the 1940s which describes media that is merely an excuse to purvey sex. The term indicates a subgenre of exploitation films Some consider it to be a genre in itself, as it can be the general theme behind productions such as films, magazines or music videos, which largely serve as a vehicle for showing scenes involving nude or semi-nude women. During the 1960s, these type of films could be seen in drive-in theaters and grindhouse theatres.
