SETI (pronounced , to rhyme with "Betty") stands for Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Interstellar travel is a common theme in science fiction stories, but so far the obstacles to such journeys have been insurmountable.
