Sergeant

Canadian Forces
In the Canadian Forces, a Sergeant (Sgt) wears a maple leaf above three point-down chevrons. The rank is used in both the Army and Air Force. In the army they usually serve as a section commander. Warrant Officer is the next most senior rank.
