"Serenity" is the two-hour series pilot for the Firefly science-fiction television series created by Joss Whedon. It wasn't shown until the end of the series's run. The episode introduces the viewers to the universe the show takes place in (a future of humanity after Earth became uninhabitable) and all of the main characters.
