Sean Bean

Shaun Mark Bean (born April 17, 1959) is a British actor from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. As an actor, he adopted the Irish spelling "Sean" of his first name.

Trivia

• He has a tattoo that reads "100% Blade" in reference to his support for Sheffield United.
• After starring as Richard Sharpe in a series of programs for Carlton, he frequently references Sharpe in some capacity in his movies.
• During the filming of The Fellowship of the Ring he refused to take the helicopters out to mountain locations. Instead he had to take a car and then hiked the final few miles. All in full costume.
