Scott Klopfenstein


 

Scott Klopfenstein (born May 31, 1977), of Garden Grove, California, is one of the members of Reel Big Fish. He plays trumpet, guitar, keyboard, and sings for Reel Big Fish. Scott Joined Reel Big Fish after the release of Everything Sucks, and has been an integral member since then. Before Cheer Up!, he mainly played trumpet and sang backup, but he is the lead vocalist for the songs Hungry Like the Wolf, Average Man, and Drunk Again. He plays guitar for most of the songs on Cheer Up, and also plays keyboard at live shows when one is available.

In the live show, Scott talks to the audience a lot, and participates in humorous banter with Aaron Barrett. Once, in an interview, Scott summed up the band in 5 words: Good Funky, Sexy, Chicken Fingers.

Before joining Reel Big Fish, Scott was a member of Orange County's Nuckle Brothers and The O.C. Scholars as trumpeter and vocalist. He briefly headed a side project called Pal, but then started The Littlest Man Band, which also features Dan Regan from Reel Big Fish.

Scott has a tattoo on his left bicep of a retro-style microphone and also one of a sunburst on his upper outer right arm.

Scott and the LMB appear a bit more classy and he promises, he is trying to be a better man.
