Scot Pollard


 

Scot Pollard (born February 12 1975 in Murray, Utah) is a professional basketball player in the NBA, noted for his eccentric hairstyles and gritty, tough nosed play.

After a college career at the University of Kansas, he was selected 19th overall in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. He has since played for the Pistons, the Sacramento Kings and the Indiana Pacers, averaging 4.8 points and five rebounds per game. Before he joined the Kings, he and Pistons teammate Christian Laettner were traded to the Atlanta Hawks, but Pollard never suited up for a game with them and was waived almost a month later.
