Scituate, Massachusetts
Scituate is a small seacoast town located in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod Bay midway between Boston and Plymouth. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 17,863. Fishing was a significant part of the local economy in the past, as well as the sea mossing industry. A small fishing fleet is still resident in Scituate Harbor.
