School prayer

School prayer is a controversial issue in some countries. Depending on the country and the type of school, it may be mandatory, allowed but optional, restricted, or prohibited entirely. Controls on prayer in schools can be seen as an element of the separation of church and state; both requiring and restricting prayer in schools can be viewed as going against such seperations.
