Savion Glover

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In the last two years, Glover has pushed the envelope of rhythm tap dancing. In 2004, he partnered with spoken word artist Reg e gaines and saxophonist Matana Roberts in a John Coltrane-inspired improvisation session, "If Trane Wuz Here". In 2005, he has further challenged the norm, collaborating with a string chamber orchestra and his band, "The Otherz" in "Classic Savion". Savion also performs with the Jazz Tap Ensemble. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
