Saved by the Bell
Saved by the Bell was a popular teen sitcom which ran from 1989 to 1993 and built a large, loyal fanbase. Its original incarnation, Good Morning, Miss Bliss (1987), starred Hayley Mills as the good-natured Miss Carrie Bliss who oversaw later Saved by the Bell cast Lark Voorhies, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Dustin Diamond as well as other students. Good Morning, Miss Bliss would later be retitled Saved by the Bell.
Saved by the Bell: The College Years
With the cast now high school graduates, a new series was created, entitled Saved by the Bell: The College Years which showed the cast dealing with college life and adulthood. College Years only lasted one season before the actors moved on to other projects.

Originally, the six main characters on the College Years were Zack Morris, A.C. Slater, Screech Powers, Leslie Burke, Alex Taber and Danielle Marks (Essence Atkins). After the pilot, Tiffani Thiessen decided to return to play the role of Kelly Kapowski. Atkins' character was written out of the plotline as having transferred to another college.

Additional actors for The College Years:

- Anne Tremko as Leslie Burke, a shy bookworm, who becomes involved with Zack early in the show's run.
- Kiersten Warren as Alex Taber, a would-be actress who became Slater's love interest.
- Bob Golic as Mike Rogers, an ex-football player/grad student who became the group's reluctant parental figure and a major thorn in Zack's side early in the show's run.
- Holland Taylor as Dean Susan McMann. A late season addition to the cast, Dean McMann was an uptight and sinister authority figure who routinely clashed with Zack and the gang and who was constantly trying to come up with a way to expell Zack from college.
- Patrick Fabian as Professor Jeremiah Lasky, a young college professor who was added to the class later in the show's run. Professor Lasky was Zack's biggest enemy during the show's run after Lasky began a relationship with Kelly, while Zack agonized over whether or not he should dump new girlfriend Leslie for a chance at reuniting with Kelly.
In the end, the show went off the air with a cliffhanger of sorts as Kelly and Zack reunited and decided to get married. The finale episode also featured the return of Lark Vorhiees as Lisa, who visits the gang upon learning of Zack and Kelly's engagement.
