Sarah Purcell
Sarah Purcell (born 8 October 1948 in Richmond, Indiana) is known for her television acting and hosting work between 1975 and 1995. She was co-host of both Real People (1979-1983) and The Home Show (1992-1994), and had minor guest appearances in several TV dramas. Since her last acting stint in 1995 she appeared in a number of infomercials for health foods, appliances, and skin care products.

In 1993 during a segment of The Home Show about influenza vaccines, a physician mistakenly gave Sarah Purcell an injection with the same needle used on cohost Gary Collins. Collins left during the show to undergo blood tests to determine his HIV and hepatitis status, which turned out to be negative.
