Sandra Oh

Sandra Oh (born November 30, 1970) is a Canadian actress born in Nepean, Ontario, Canada to Korean parents.

Sandra Oh became interested in acting while attending Sir Robert Borden High School in Nepean, Ontario, where she was took drama classes, acted in school plays, and was a member of the drama club. She was also a member of the student council in high school. After high school, she studied drama at university before going on to roles in Canadian films and films in the United States.

She has appeared in mostly American movies and television. She has received various awards, including two Genie Awards. She is married to American filmmaker Alexander Payne, as of January 1, 2003. On March 12, 2005, the couple's publicist said they were separating.
