Sandra Cretu

Sandra Cretu (born as Sandra Ann Lauer May 18, 1962, Saarbrücken, Germany) is a popular German singer currently living in Ibiza (Spain).

She was one of three members of the band Arabesque from 1979 to 1984. Starting form 1984 she participated in the group Sandra(as vocalist) together with her future-husband Michael Cretu and other members. The group produced many popular hits like "Maria Magdalena", "In the Heat of the Night", "Johnny Wanna Live" and "Hiroshima". Sandra also participated in the group Enigma as background vocalist.

On January 7, 1988, she married Michael Cretu, the creator of Enigma. Sandra and Michael have two children, Nikita and Sebastian.
