Sanal Edamaruku: President of Rationalist International and editor of its Internet publication that appears in English, French, German, Spanish and Finnish. He convened three International Rationalist Conferences in 1995, in 2000 and in 2002. He is also the President of Indian Rationalist Association, India's leading freethought organization.

Sanal Edamaruku has delivered lectures in the USA, UK, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Japan. He has authored a wide range of articles and several books. His articles are translated and published in English, Hindi, Tamil, Oriya, French, Spanish, German, Finnish, Swedish, Dutch, Norwegean, and several other languages. With two novels and many short stories, he has made a mark as creative writer in Malayalam language. He has built up Indian Atheist Publishers, Asia's largest freethought publishing house.
