Samuel P. Heintzelman
Samuel Peter Heintzelman (b. 1805 - d. 1890) was a U.S. Army General. He served in the Seminole War, the Mexican War, the Cortina Troubles and the American Civil War, where he commanded the III Corps of the Union Army. He retired in 1869.
