Samara Morgan

Samara Morgan is a character in the 2002 movie, The Ring. She is loosely based on Sadako Yamamura from the original Japanese Ringu series. She was also believed to be based on an actual murder in Washington state in the 1980s, but that has been proven false (see below). Samara's hatred created a videotape that kills anyone who watches it seven days later.
