Salmonella enteritidis


 

Salmonella enteritidis is a Gram negative rod-shaped bacterium linked to raw or undercooked eggs and poultry, and one of many causative agents of food poisoning. Symptoms of salmonellosis include fever, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, weakness, and loss of appetite.
