Salim Khan

Salim Khan is an Indian actor and scriptwriter who wrote numerous screenplays for Bollywood movies in the 1970s.

Personal life

Salim Khan was born in 1935, in India. His mother died when he was very young.

By his first wife, Salma, he has four children: Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Alvira. They also adopted a daughter named Arpita. Salim's three sons have all become Bollywood actors. His oldest son, Salman, is one of Bollywood's biggest stars.

In the late 1970s, Salim took a second wife, the dancer/actress Helen, who lives in a separate household. Relations between his two families were rumoured to have been tense at first, but Salim's children by his first wife are now said to be fond of his second wife as well.
