Roy Black
Roy Black (born February 17, 1945 in New York City) is a nationally-recognized criminal defense attorney. He is best known for his gaining an acquittal, in 1991, of William Kennedy Smith on charges of rape. He also has represented conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh on charges related to Limbaugh's alleged misuse of OxyContin, a pharmaceutical opiod.

In addition to his legal work, Black provides legal commentary for various NBC news shows. He is a partner in Black, Srebnick, Kornspan & Stumpf, a Miami-based criminal defense firm.

Black holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, graduating in 1967. He holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Miami School of Law, scoring the highest possible score on the Florida Bar Exam following his 1970 graduation.
