Rosenborg B.K.
Rosenborg Ballklub (RBK) is a Norwegian football club from the city of Trondheim. It was founded in 1917 (originally named Odd, changed to Rosenborg Ballklub in 1927) and has won the Norwegian League the last 13 seasons (1992 - 2004). This is second all-time in the world to Skonto Riga of Latvia, which is currently on a 14-year streak of domestic titles.
European Champions League
Rosenborg B.K. has participated in the group phase of the European Champions League ten times in the last eleven years. Eight of them were consecutive (from 1995 to 2002), which was a record until 2004, when Manchester United qualified for the group phase for a ninth successive year. Rosenborg failed to qualify in 2003, with a loss against Deportivo de La Coruņa, but managed to qualify again in 2004 after beating Maccabi Haifa, and in 2005 – despite the disappointing season – they qualified for the tenth time after winning 4-3 against Steaua Bucuresti.
