Rose Period
Style of Pablo Picasso's painting which used cheerful orange and pink colours in contrast to the cool, sombre tones of the previous Blue Period. The Rose Period lasted from 1905 to 1907. He was happy in his relationship with Fernande Olivier and this has been one of the possible reasons he changed his style of painting.
