Roscoe, Illinois
Roscoe is a village located in Winnebago County, Illinois, a suburb of Rockford. The village is in a rural area along the Rock River. The four public schools in Roscoe are part of the Kinnikinnick School District. These are Ledgewood School (grades K-3), Stone Creek School (grades K-3), Kinnikinnick School (grades 4-5), and Roscoe Middle School (grades 6-8). There is no public high school in the village, so high school students attending a public school must travel outside Roscoe. This high school is Hononegah High School located in the neighboring town of Rockton, Illinois. Hononegah is made up of students from Rockton's Steven Mack Middle School (The second largest feeder), Roscoe Middle School (The largest feeder), Shirland School (The smallest feeder), and South Beloit's and Roscoe's Praire Hill School (The third-largest feeder).
